1. Who we are

Media Vision Digital Marketing is a digital marketing agency based in Penang, Malaysia, registered with SSM under 202603119165 (RA0135210-U). We are the data user responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to give us, including:

• Contact details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, and business name and location.
• Enquiry details: the services you are interested in, your monthly ad budget and anything you tell us in messages.
• Client account information: if you become a client, we may receive access to your Google Ads, Meta Business, analytics and website accounts, along with the campaign and performance data inside them.

We collect this when you use the free audit form (which opens WhatsApp with your details), message us on WhatsApp or Facebook, or work with us as a client.

3. How we use your data

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare your ads audit or proposal.
• To plan, run, track and report on your advertising campaigns if you become a client.
• To send invoices and manage our business relationship with you.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We will not use your data for any unrelated purpose without asking you first, and we do not sell your personal data.

4. Who we share it with

We only share personal data where needed to provide our services:

• Messaging and platform providers: WhatsApp and Facebook (Meta), Google and other ad platforms we manage on your behalf.
• Service providers: such as website hosting, accounting and cloud tools, who must keep your data confidential.
• Authorities: when required by Malaysian law.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Malaysia. By using our services, you consent to this transfer, and we take reasonable steps to ensure your data stays protected.

5. Cookies & tracking

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising:

• Google Tag Manager: loads our measurement tags.
• Google Analytics 4: records anonymous usage such as pages viewed, device type, approximate location and when a WhatsApp button is clicked.
• Meta Pixel: lets Meta (Facebook & Instagram) measure the results of our ads and show relevant ads to people who have visited this site.

These tools do not receive the name, business or budget you type into the audit form. That information goes only to WhatsApp when you choose to send it. The site also loads fonts and scripts from third-party providers (Google Fonts, cdnjs and unpkg), which may receive your IP address as part of delivering those files.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook ad settings.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months so we can follow up, and client records for as long as needed for the engagement and our legal obligations (generally up to 7 years for financial records). After that, we delete or anonymise it.

7. How we protect it

We use reasonable practical, technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including limiting account access to the team members who need it.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you may:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Withdraw your consent or limit how we use your data.
